JULY 4TH BERLIN PARADE

Your help is needed on Tuesday, July 4th!

March with Us

March with us, or cheer for the SRBC parade float in Berlin’s annual July 4th parade. Parade starts at West Berlin Fire Hall at 9 am; continues to the Berlin Park via the White Horse Pike and West Broad Avenue. We have 5,000 pamphlets, 8,000 freeze pops, 5,000 miniature flags, and lots of candy to hand out! We are looking for able-bodied men, women, children, and teens to walk the parade route and help distribute these items with us.

Walking the parade route start to finish is 1.67 miles.

We are looking to enlist the following:

  • 20 adults for our float handout card
  • 20 people of any age for candy and freeze pops

The plan is to meet at the West Berlin Fire Hall by 8:45 am. If you can’t make it to the West Berlin Fire Hall, meet on the school side of church at 8:30 am. Wear patriotic clothing (red, white, and blue) if you have it. Bring buckets to hold what we are handing out, and gloves to hand out freeze pops are helpful, but not required.
